how long does it take for super points to be credited to your account

Mine took about 14 days to be credited, I contacted Rakuten about the delay and was told it was to ensure I was happy with the order and did not want to return it (within 14 days) before the points were processed and added.

Does anyone know if you earn points on orders bought with points (I think you can) and can you cancel preorders bought with points as I have halo 5 preordered?
