Oh Lord another "hot" deal for THE WORST VALUE FOR MONEY ALKALINE BATTERIES that you can buy.
Mikeyfive well who knows what you have been doing as every review, every analysis, whether purely scientific or based on real-world use has proven beyond any doubt that Alkaline batteries are a commodity, they are totally generic and the only real variation in capacity etc. seems to come from different batches.
Ten Duracell AA non-rechargeable alkaline cells for £3 is NOT a good deal. Don't be fooled by the simple, plus etc. monickers, they are more or less identical to eg Wilkinson own brand (8 for 95p last time I checked), Kodak Xtralife (6 or 8 for £1), etc. etc. etc.
This is NOT a hot deal, you have been sucked in by a brand and become loyal to it, Duracell is one of the greatest masterstrokes of advertising of all time, it's not just a similar product but 4 times the price, it is actually an identical and in some cases inferior product.
Unless the Duracells are 8 for £1 it is not a hot deal. Sorry OP and mikeyfive but this is COLD.
Should be called The Great Battery Swindle or something. You are being duped by the Duracell brand.

Please note this is for the Duracell 'Plus Power' batteries & not the Duracell 'simple power' batteries which are always on sale in Aldi by the tills

I tried all those cheap alkaline batteries after reading how great they were in several posts on here.
Duracell are miles better.

Asda have decent offers on Duracells around Christmas, so you might want to keep checking there too.

good price, especially for the aaa, remember you can get the AA Duracell industrial version used to be called procell for between £2 and £3 for 10 at any time they are the same as the Power Plus versions.
Kodak batteries run out miles quicker than Duracell. I use them, they suck.
They might be cheaper but I'd prefer my headtorch didn't run out in the middle of a job / run.
