"Was 449.99" ...yeah, right - for 7kg washer with only 2 years warranty ?
£300 is just about standard price, hard to see any special offer or bargain...

You cant fault Bosch build quality and would recommend a reconditioned Bosch over a new Beko or similar product any day. However they do know how to charge for parts, we have a Bosch generator iron and the heating element has gone but they charge a hefty £140 on their website for a new one!! The iron in the first place was only £120 new so not sure where they get their pricing strategy from?! Then again, charge people a fortune for the parts when it goes wrong and hopefully they'll not get it fixed so will buy new.... this increasing our sales figures!! The website below is not for everyone but hopefully it might help some people out, they have the contract for disposing of old/slightly marked or reconditioned appliances from John Lewis, Currys Argos etc.... here

We have had almost every make of washing machine over the last 40 years ( yep I am on oldie) every one was purchased with the optional extended guarantee and boy did we need it!!! Hot point the repair man after so many visits was on first name terms ! Indesit/ beko and others constantly broke down, I recall my domestic and general insurance premium going up to £86per year due to the number of claims! Decided to buy Bosch on a friends recommendation and honestly haven't looked back, 9 years old and not one problem, used constantly / Dailey . The wife even putting heavy bath mats in, shower curtains trainers etc etc, honest from my experience I would not bother with any other make, so impressed so much so that I've bought Bosch fridge , built in oven , ceramic hob when/ if the freezer packs up I'll replace with Bosch. Highly recommend. Sad to here others have not been as fortunate

I dont think this is even a warm deal. I got the next model up and it was £315 so I dont think this is hot. Also looks like one of those made for Curry's models if you google the model number. Not sure what the hype is about a 2 years guarantee is? Most Bosch have 2 years warranty.

Does make you think. We have the same sort of Bosch washing machine as this but bought it during their additional 2 year warranty (4years in total) promotion. Well one month before the warranty ends we are having leaks, so I am having the door seal gasket replaced and the bottom front filter plug changed (thought it might be the detergent pump behind it that's the problem).
Bosch sell the replacement door deal for £120 on their website!

I'm assuming these Bosch machines with the similar electronic panel are the same - if the constant beeping drives you loopy (it's the first thing I Googled when I bought it!) there's solutions on Youtube.
The instructions with mine were pretty bad, it was just one sheet of paper and not very detailed.

Never buy Bosch unless you can deal with leaking pipes.

Hi, sorry I can't make any recommendations - but I must have been fortunate (reading the comments) as I've had a bosch washer now 13+years amd have had only 1 repair in the last 5 years. Guess I'm sayimg I would buy it based on brand however I'd some research etc

This one gets a 'best buy' award from 'Which' and reviews on almost every website are positive.
AO are giving a £20 off voucher with everything over £299, and Topcashback are giving £26.25 for zanussi washing machines bought from AO; means machine can be bought for around £305.

Wife bought a Hoover H160 2 years before we met we had first child in 2006 2nd in 2008 & got married in 2009.
In that time I've had to fix it 3 times
First was oldest decided to swing on the door snapping the hinge £18 and 5 min fix
Second was 5 years ago carbon brushes wore out replacement was £19 & 15 min fix (dead easy lower machine onto side, pop plastic panel off undo 2 screws per brush pull off & replace)
Third was carbon brushes again last week another £20
1600 spin means clothes come out almost dry sometimes.
I do wonder when it does come time to replace whether "modern" machines actually have parts that are replaceable or not. I've read about machines with sealed carbon brushes so it's motor out for a refurb or replace whole thing. Crazy. Anyway sorry for OT rambling. In the time we've had this machine my parents (both parents, nan, 4 foster kids) have been through 3 washing machines & 2 dishwashers - Scary!
