This phone is a bargain. Currently the best selling phone in China and this is actually cheaper with the launch offer. Finally no rip off Britain.
Ignore the reviews complaining about EMUI. Only stock android snobs complain about it. Having used both, emui is much better.

It's not often that you check in to HUKD and actually save money. I was browsing as I thought now might be good time to replace my Note 2 but after reading your post I can't really fault my current phone for my needs. Thanks.

why are everyone still buying phones? What's wrong with the one you are using now?
I failed to see any features good enough for upgrade from 2 yrs old sony z ultra, or any 2 yrs old android phones, HTC M7/M8/M9 or Samsung S4/S5, Note 3/4.
They are practically the same.

Seems ok deal to me I Like the English connection. Heat added - not seen any reviews tho, but the manufacturer has a proven good record.

Lots of reviews have been posted online today.
It seems to be pretty nice for the money. Although most of the reviews complain about Huawei EMUI interface.

This is only a pre-order at the moment, no indication of when they will start shipping.
Probably worth noting that the Honor 6 is also available through the vmall at £169.99 for a few days. (Around £240 elsewhere at the moment)

£170 is an awesome price for the Honor 6!

I've been looking at getting this one, contacted them on chat and they say they're looking to ship within 2 weeks.
Tried to clarify the 4G bands but all they said was it's compatible with the UK networks, not sure if they meant 4G or just the phone, anyone know as GSMarena implies it might not be 4G compatible for voda/o2 network...?

gsm arena seems to only list 1 and 3: LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800)
shame...

Care to explain why EMUI is better? is it not subjective and not a an actual fact. What is wrong with stock android? What is a snob? Why should people ignore reviews and listen to you instead?

You certainly have lost all credibility by stating that EMUI is "much better" than stock Android.

Why is this better than all the other cheap phones with similar specs that cost half as much as this?

Hi. Your 'Ignore the reviews' comment stuck in my mind since I read it because it was so deviant. I took your advice and bought one and I am just writing to say you were (surprisingly) right - EMUI is a better experience than stock Android for 'normal' users (in this case my Wife). Even as an IT pro myself, I don't get the hate for EMUI.

It's dual sim but if you're using a micro sd then only 1 sim.
