I'd advise caution on this, the ecosport is a hateful car with quite poor reviews. It's built in India and aimed squarely at people who want an SUV type car but can't stretch to a Kuga.

There are some silly exaggerations going on in this thread. It might be at the bottom of it's class, but the ecosport is a long way from being a bad car in any sort of absolute sense.
Granted it's not the class best for economy - they're around 60mpg - but it's certainly got plenty of company around 50mpg.
When did they making towing illegal? Most setups with a trailer of any significant weight (caravan etc.) are 30-50bhp/ton. Unless Ford really screwed up the gearing on the ecosport 72bhp/ton is loads of power. It might not be as whizzy as you like but it's certainly not going to max out at 40mph, be dangerous or any other the other absurdities being thrown around.
Both the Adult Occupant and Child-in-Carseat tests look perfectly reasonable to me. Under the same test regime (2013) it proved better than the Mercedes CLA, better than the Honda CR-V and better than the Mazda 6.
The pedestrian rating isn't great, down there with the BMW i3 and Renault Captur but that's a common problem on small, blunt and high vehicles. Even the B-max only manages mid-sixties. Better to stick to a hatchback.

Also dont forget to add in the 2 dealrr services so probably about £500 on top of the £3500. Still a good deal but a horrible car. Had one as a hire car and would really advice a test drive because i hated my 3 days with this one.

So about 4.2p per mile extra for the 10k deal. I don't know how much the excess/depreciation costs charged by this leasing company would be, but 4.2ppm seems quite low, and on the face of it, the 10k deal seems better value.

wow! must be the best lease deal we have ever seen on this website! Well done. Anyone in the market for a new car would be mad not to go for this deal

Horrible car. Check car buyer test on you tube. It has bad opinions on forums as well. That's the worst ford on the market.

It's better if you're doing around 8000 or over per year. Personally I do between 6000 and 7000 so the cheaper option is much better. It's only good value if you're going to use the extra.

Depreciation charge,is that an extra payment on top of £125?

No, it's when you take out a deal for say 10k miles per annum, but actually end up doing more miles than that. When you return the vehicle at the end of the lease, the lease company will charge you the excess mileage/depreciation.

I 2nd this, I have spent A LOT of time recently researching this class of car looking for our next car and there are many better cars for the same price. Many reviewers who feel this car is awful all round (price, efficiency, build quality all quoted as being awful).

What was it you hated so much?
It's clearly not a quick or powerful car, but if you aren't used to that or interested in having a quick car - then might it be OK? Horses for courses and all that.

You only need 1 service half way through the lease contract if you taking out 2 years lease. Service doesn't have to be with Ford too.

Good price, but the reviews aren't favourable. I guess that's why they're shifting stock.

Juke owners report 49.6mpg out of the diesel manual, ecosport owners 48.2mpg. 'Marginally less' would probably be the phrase I'd have chosen.
