Giant defy 0 reduced to 799 is a fantastic price. Unbelievable spec for that price and great reviews. The 2016 model must be due out but this bike is hard to better for that price. I took one for a test run a few weeks ago and it was outstanding. If only my back could take riding a road bike!!!. Stick to my hybrid. lol

So you are confused that something second hand costs less than something new?
Or is it that things come at different prices? Plenty of bikes out there for less than your car cost, and plenty of cars cost more than this bike.
Hopefully you are trolling otherwise probably time to call for the nurse to take you back to your room!
Purchased a Nissan Micra with 25000 miles, full serving history,absolutely spotless for £750, when a push bike get more expensive than a car, I must admit, life gets really confusing.

Suggest a basic book on economics; it's all about supply and demand plus profit.
Perfumes & aftershaves are a classic case - one of the few products where sales increase if the price increases - people perceive it must be good if it costs allot - but in reality the cost of the product is next to nothing - costs come from marketing, packaging & of course a vast profit...

Bike's value is based on how light they are often.
Try picking your Micra up and taking it up a flight of stairs.
Try filtering between two lanes of traffic.
Doesn't seem confusing at all - bike is WAY better than the car*.

I suggest to print off two pictures - your Nissan, and then a bicycle.
Label the car "CAR", and the bike "BIKE". Stick them on your Fridge.

The deal has been pulled. I added the defy 0 to my basket and tried to buy it and it was 999. Earlier in the day the site was showing the reduction to 799.
