Kodak Xtralife batteries are comparable in terms of price and performance. Available from the Poundshop, six for a quid. Box of 60 delivered from Amazon for a tenner.

Comment use these in the hangar I work in, tried all sorts of brands and variations, but these all seem to be the most reliable and hardest working (mostly used in torches and light power tools) I love them, and always have a dozen in my toolbox, just in case

I bought this last year and they really last longer than the normal duracell batteries. Worth every penny!

What a very sweeping, and stupid, statement. These batteries get good reviews, as do the Kodak Xtralife batteries. Value for money. If you want to spend loads of money on something better, please point me in that direction. I'll be waiting a while!

looking on Duracell's site these are suggested for smoke alarms, remotes etc. Suggests lower power than some consumer ranges.

Bought these from this supplier many times (OK, Procell before these). Great delivery times and no problems at all with these batteries.
