Been on the look out for a budget tablet and came across this. It seems to be £129 across many retailers but being a new customer with very and using code 4XDWJ it took £25 off so got it for £104. Just thought I would share it in case anyone else is looking for one. Looks a decent tablet for the price and specs can be found below. Also note the very code can be used on any item over 50 quid as long as your a new customer and open a very account. You can then pay it off as quickly as you want.

Please be very careful using discount codes with them: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7061767.stm - they did back down, but only after months of worry & stress - basically if they decide (without time limit?) that you were not eligible, they can look to claw back the discount, opening a credit account in your name to hold the debit & adding late fees to it if you do not pay. If you google "littlewoods reclaim £25 voucher code" you will find results everywhere inc. MSE, bitterwallet & HUKD.

Be very very careful when purchasing this tablet. The tablet has no light sensor which is perfectly fine as you should be able to adjust the brightness yourself which most people do anyway. That's what you'd think. Lenovo implemented a software version of a light sensor which they fail to mention anywhere and it is extremely faulty. The screen brightness will flicker from full brightness to dim whenever it feels like. You have no control over it whatsoever. There is a fix for this though which is very hit and miss but it is quite tricky for people who aren't comfortable with stuff like installing CWM and the likes. Don't take my word for it. Go read it over on XDA and Lenovo don't give a toss. Poor support. Automated responses. Even their Twitter rep is reading from a script. There was a recent update also which failed to fix this so you're stuck with it unless you are willing to live with it or fix it yourself. This will particularly annoy those who want to watch movies on it. Especially XBMC where the brightness just fades to dark whilst watching a movie.

Look at all my posts..if i worked for Lenovo i would not own a Samsung Tab 3, an HP Laptop, Samsung S3 mobile. Are you on benefits ?

See. Now you're having other owners coming forward with the same claims of the flickering issue and a few have even suggested going down the rooting road which again is not the easiest thing to do for someone who just wants to purchase a tablet and not mess with it or a technophobe. You expect to buy a fully working device no matter what it is you purchase. Not something you have to bring home and hope it doesn't suffer from the flickering/battery issues which you have to fix yourself. Just be wary people that this purchase would be more of a gamble than others.

Also if you worked for Lenovo you'd be reading from a script which you're obviously not. Ignore that idiot.

I was going to post the same deal yesterday! Hah. I decided this is probably the best brand new tablet at this price for all the spec. Better than getting a second hand nexus too because of the memory card slot.
It seems like £30 cashback..effectively bringing this tablet price to £70 ?? So you get FULL HD,8" ,2GB RAM. Simply the best tablet deal at the moment on HUKD i suppose.

I think you can only claim this cashback if you purchase the tablet from Lenovo's UK or ROI website.

I'm afraid not. T&C's for sales in Feb 15 states that it applies to lenovo.com store only. i.e. "Purchase must be made from the UK or ROI Lenovo.com web store. Excludes Lenovo Outlet store and other territories".
