Sainsburys were doing the Sony for £229 in store last week, online is showing at £300+. Don't know if it was store specific but it was in Leeds White Rose.

Thinking about the 40" version of this tv. I saw it in Currys the other week and liked everything about it.
32" is just too small for my lounge.
Fill in JL Price match form with the above details and you win again...

Would this set be suitable for wall mounting, as some of the reviews say it is a bit thicker than normal? I've been given a price match but I don't want to purchase it if it's going to stick out too far from the wall.

Been pretty happy with my current 40" Sammy, but its almost 5 yrs old now so will be out of RS warranty soon. I already used that warranty a few weeks ago when a fault developed and RS repaired it. So I shall now consign it to the bedroom.
This H5000 is better specced with Freeview HD and 100hrz, looks better with a thinner bezel, is lighter and uses about half the power.
JL have accepted the price match, so it looks like i'll be buying it...... its a great deal for £299, considering my old Sammy cost £485 with 5 yr warranty from RS.
