Probably the same thing as the Digihome 16" I posted, which had a built in DVD player for an extra fiver from Comet. Probably no warranty, though, as I think it's a Comet own-brand, so yer pays yer money and yer takes yer choice...

I'm not very technical but if I want this for the kitchen, do I have to run arial cables through the house or can you still use those portable ariels that you just pop into back of tv? Sorry if this is an obvious question. Great price. Heat added.

Yes you can, but it's a bit hit and miss with portable arials, they either work or they don't there tends to be no middle ground, do some research before buying one, and check out your postcode on the freeview website to see how strong your signal is in your area.

I have been lucky, I took the loop aerial from my old portable CRT and made a stand for it out of a block of wood.
My new Freeview LCD works great with it.

Had been watching this one for motorhome use, so ordered on Saturday & arrived today.
Hers some infor that may help others with the same idea.
There is a separate PSU, rated [email protected] - measured output 13.4V - so it should run straight off a car battery.
Power consumption is a mere 15W - but standby is a bit disappointing at 6W.
If you pull the power plug and reconnect, the TV goes into standby, switching it on returns it to the last input state (useful if you always use an external A/V source).
TV with stand weighs about 1.5kg.
It does have HDMI Component & composite inputs - but no VGA in.
Contrary to the description, it does not have a USB socket for playback.
