But it's a small difference between this water and Tesco value water, isn't it?

Bottled Water, is always filtered tap water, Spring / Mineral water is Spring water, I am surprised there are people who think otherwise?

who should you trust now? Tesco or your on intuition? Tesco and Asda (and maybe others) were found out selling bottled tap water - the description states "Mineral"... who are we to believe?

It doesn't say mineral at all; the tap water is the stuff they call 'still water' or 'table water' which you'd have to be pretty stupid to think it was anything special, hence why only the tabloids have bothered to publish articles about it.

Forgetting the tap water thing (which this quite clearly isn’t), it’s doubtful this will be nationwide. Each different part of the country has their own different version of this water, in my part of Scotland it’s called ‘Perthshire’ mineral water and was full price in Dunfermline an hour ago.

I think all parts of the country get Perthshire water in Tesco, I live in the East Midlands and we've got both though Perthshire is dearer presumably because of the extra transport costs.

"This pure, refreshing Ashbeck Natural Mineral Water is sourced from the rolling hills of Eden Valley on the edge of the Lake District, in a protected Special Area of Conservation. The water flows deep below ground through rocks dating back millions of years. These ancient rocks naturally filter each drop of Ashbeck water and enrich it with minerals to give a clear, refreshing taste."
