i dont see how this could ever have been 699.99 it is not very powerful only has 1 scart and doesnt particulary look nice either
sounds quite good, except media streaming is ethernet only and not wireless, otherwise i'd be tempted.

So buy a pair of Powerline adaptors - some were in a post earlier this week for about 40-odd quid, (the Dabs ones were cheaper, but there is a wait for them coming in stock) and you are sorted. Simple plug in and it works, more reliable solid connection too. I am using them instead of wireless now, and use them for media streaming to an old Hauppauge MVP too.

So it's £146 for an ethernet networking streaming device? My £10 Xbox + XMBC does the same job, leaving me another £136 for speakers...

I have a XBMC configured xbox as well, love it to bits. However the noticable advantage of this system would be the fact you can output to HDMI, with todays HiDef technology our xbox's are becoming redundant.
