A slightly different twist on the usual Amazon downloads - free editions of classic books (authors like Gogol, Balzac, Tolstoy, Flaubert), available to read across a whole range of devices, with enhanced formatting and smart new covers. The books are all from Project Gutenberg, but far as I can tell they've just been given a lick of paint. Have a quick browse through the catalogue and see if anything takes your fancy! Philip K Dick's Short Fiction, for example?
One thing I've noticed that's slightly 'oh': if you're reading on Kindle, the nice new covers won't show up by default. I think you'd need to add them using a metadata editor or something similar. But hey, they're free! They're slightly modernised, well-formatted (chapter menus etc.), and the site is nice. Hope someone enjoys these.
