Was really disapointed with SFV personally. Capcom are money grabbers and I cannot be bothered to grind away to get characters that should have really been there from the start. As a result I generally play USFIV instead.

And how much did you have to pay to upgrade from SF4 to every subsequent version? Would you rather be forced to buy a new version of the game or just pay for what characters you want, sure you will pay more if you need to have every character but the game does give a decent chunk of FM through the single player content.
It's unreasonable to expect them to support the game for 5 years without any additional revenue.

Such a let down for me I felt. Rather play sf4 than this. And rather play Third Strike than that even. Just opinions tho.

Does anyone else find it sad that 90% of these 'supposed' improvements are primarily geared towards the online mode/Pro league players? Capcom just don't get it do they? Constantly alienating the single player/casual enthusiasts of the series who actually want to enjoy a fully featured and varied game!

I'd second this. I loved the first iteration of SF4 on the 360 and subsequently upgraded to Super and then Arcade Editions and even with these I noticed that nothing seemed to be added to the single player and was all online focused. While I enjoy an occasional knock about on a good beat em up like SF4 I don't and won't **** learn all the special moves so would never be good enough to compete properly online with it...

Didn't pay that much as I waited for the price to come down. SFV Just has a poor roster from the start. Capcom know what they are doing when they released half baked games and then expect the end user to pay for more. What they supplied at the start of SFV was poor. Still a poor selection of fighters out of the box either way.
