Surely not everyone is going to get FREE Fish and Chips from Yorkshire too? You can't make a comment like that without going around to try them all first to compare, especially as it is FREE! <3 It's like saying your home town has the best curries in the world without ever leaving your home town or UK.:stuck_out_tongue: This seems to be well rated and up there with the top according to the articles, I'll be making a trip up there to try.

Oh I've been to a lot of fish and chip establishments around the country. Yorkshire is not my home county BTW. Perhaps you ought to visit Skipton, Whitby or even little West Yorkshire towns like Ilkley and Otley and sample their fish and chips. If you've been to a Rick Steins then there's plenty of small operators that put him (and indeed Harry Ramsden) to shame. There's not a lot free in London so its a good deal but I think for award winning food I'd be looking at Ethnic Cuisine to get the most out of a 'foodie' visit to London

Thanks for your comment, and recommendations, but after reading up a bit more in to it after your comment, I saw on one of the TripAdvisor comments that the current fryer at this place is from Whitby, North Yorkshire! So a bit of Yorkshire delivered to London and I guess part of the reason why this place achieved some of it's recent awards. Getting more and more hungry the more I think about it, looking forward to it, I can't wait!
