It's a free web-based service that allows users to create chains of simple conditional statements, called applets. Hope that helps. :stuck_out_tongue:

IFTTT can be used to connect services and objects linked together via, for example, the internet. You create little programmes (applets) which perform a function when triggered by something else - If This Then That.
eg
If the temperature falls below zero then turn the heating up.
Or it could be used to trigger an event when an email is received.
There are loads of scenarios and it is really useful.

You need to create an account on ifttt the you link you devices to it.
would not know, the website does not support IE browsers not a good start so I can not look into it as I don't like companies telling me what I should use just to view there bloody website.
