A fantastic game, going free as part of Ubisoft's 30 year anniversary.
For anyone who hasn't played, I'd implore you to give it a go. It's a fantastic game.
Also timed well as it appears they will be announcing a sequel in the near future.

Fantastic game, have had it for years on steam but didn't get along with it not having native controller options. played it a few months ago on PS3 and thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for the sequel

No - it's just Ubisoft's PC digital distribution platform, performing a similar function to Steam, or EA's Origin.
Some find it overly intrusive in certain ways, or just don't like it because it's not Steam - but it's not really anything all that bad.

There's a few games I consider to be all-time classics that I feel that about.
Goldeneye is the primary culprit. Basically unplayable now, but was a revelation in its day.

Although it is only multiplayer, this is a group of fans great effort to bring things a little closer to the present...

I did buy this game for PS3 but it was pretty much unplayable due to the inability to invert-y without also doing so for the x-axis.
Having just purchased a Steam controller I'm pretty sure I can make it work well with that so am looking forward to trying it out again.

Sadly it won't be any time soon. The creator said BGAE 2 is now in "pre-production" which means it's at least 3 years away!

The Xbox 360 remake looks so good yet we'll never play it. :disappointed:
