I believe there was something about this sort of product on one of those 'trust me I'm a doctor' programmes the other day. They seemed to work. I can't say that it is the same product, because they didn't mention brands, but did suggest to look at bbc.co.uk/trustme (The link in post 3 takes you to the exact page)
