One of my favourite Nintendo games from the past few years. Hours of fun.
Nintendo is bringing back the global testfire starting next week on 25th August until 28th. Will update times when they're confirmed.

Hands down one of the most frustrating games of all time.
Lag against Japanese players.
Lag.
Lag.
Hits that fail to register.
Limited level rotations. Imagine playing the SAME level 5 times in a row.
4v3 handicap matches are either pathetic drubbings or takes the shine off a win.
No communication, imagine your goal is to get a device to the enemy base and 1 of your team is off rollering far corners of the level!
FTR, I had to replace my gamepad because of this game.
Only Mario Kart Snes was more frustrating than Splatoon.
There's a gem in Splatoon... underneath a mountain of flaws.
It's fair to say I hate this game.

Yes, I know exactly where you are coming from. Drives me insane. Nintendo customer service were beyond useless and refused to even answer my questions.

Completely agree. It's a good first attempt but hugely frustrating. Haven't played it in months and have no interest in the sequel unless they fix those issues.

Great game, reminds me of playing CODs a few years back, just jump in every now and again and have some fun.

I feel your pain, there's a great game at the heart of it all but it feels so rough around the edges.
I don't know what your internet speed is at, m8, but ring your ISP and ask them to increase the Upload speed, that helped a little for me.
Painting the level requires quite an upload speed.
Also, have a wired connection, there's a little usb-Ethernet cable for the wii u, costs about £6.
And good luck if you choose to stick with it.
I can see you already know of Nintendo's legendary customer service.

Wii U feels like a beta HD Nintendo console for Nintendo so it's possible that they're just figuring out how it all works when they finally settle down with the next home console that won't be a log of turds.
