Since launching in Bolton last May last year, Uber riders have travelled more than 250,000 miles together. To celebrate, we’re giving riders in Bolton the opportunity to ride free up to £10 all week long.
From Monday, August 8 to Friday, August 12, riders in Bolton will have up to £10 off, making rides under £10 completely free—whether you're a new or existing Uber user! Riders can take a maximum of 2 free trips per day of the promotion, up to a maximum of 10 free trips during the week.
Whether it's a trip to The Valley, the train station, the grocery store, or a night out in Nelson Square with friends, you could get there for free—all week long.
How to get your free rides*:
1. Open your Uber app anytime between Monday, August 8, and Friday August 12 in Bolton
2. Request an uberX, uberXL, or UberEXEC
3. That’s it!
I don't live in Bolton but hope this works for those that do.

We unfortunately have Uber in the boroughs around Liverpool.
My main concern is how can they possibly crb check the drivers who have mostly only been in the uk for a very short time with some only speaking poor English.
This is NOT a racist comment just a concern.

They are a global multinational, tax-dodging, investment banking funded corporation, forcing licensed cab drivers out of a living. They don't pay their drivers enough, and because of this, boast a side loan company, putting their drivers into debt, thereby securing their low-paid employment for long periods. Horrid business, essentially.

This is just the tip of the iceberg for a company that runs fast and loose with peoples lives and liberties.
