This classic was £0.76 for a long time. This morning I got an alert from eReaderIQ that it has dropped price and is now free! Often named as one of the most important books and a relatively short read.

A good read and, as a bonus, written with STYLE. Try also the War of the Worlds (If you have not already - and don't be put off by that awful Amercan film version) then have a crack at The Space Machine by Christopher Priest, which neatly ties the two Wells books together
You should never pay for an out of copyright classic like this, so I don't consider it to be a 'deal'.

I still prefer the one-click process of Amazon over downloading, connecting my Kindle to a PC and transferring books. Both are free, this is just easier.
