Totally misleading title in my opinion. It should say something like

"500MB of free data when you top up by £xx"

Especially surprised to see this posted this way by a mod aswell tbh.

So, they'll give away 1/2 gig free, but cut everyone off their one plan!

Think I'll order 30 and use one every day just to stick my fingers up them :stuck_out_tongue:

where does it say that - aIl I can see is free data

You need to top up to 'activate' though

You shouldn't have to top up at all.

If your SIM doesn't automatically activate follow these steps:

*Insert your SIM into your phone and switch it on
*3 will text you to let you know they have started activating your SIM. Make sure you keep your phone switched on while they connect you to the Three network. This should only take about 30 minutes but during busy periods it may take longer
*They’ll send you a second text telling you to turn your phone off and on again
*Your SIM will be activated when you restart your phone. They’ll confirm this with another text
*If you still haven't received any notification/connection, put the SIM in a phone or 3G iPad connect to a WiFi signal. Navigate to three.co.uk/my3 > Click 'Register' > Enter your 'Three number' and 'last six digits of your SIM'

I am off to Spain soon, can I use the data while there?

Had a few of these last time,
they do work with the free data without topping up,
but all three of mine cut off after 2 weeks,despite hardly using any data,
not 1 of them lasted the full 30 days!
