don't get this ...
I bought this game earlier for my son on his steam account for £6.99.
I'm guessing they won't reimburse him so he can buy another :disappointed:

You can get Steam refund if the game has been played less than 2 hours, so you might be able to get your money back and then just get it again for free.

If i recall the £6.99 is a pack where you get items/in-game skins as well. i'd say refund and purchase again for the 50% off.

Early Access payments often help independent developers with costs related to finishing a games production. I hope your son is enjoying the game, but you shouldn't be preaching negativity about their decision to make it Free upon completion.
Starting up any business often takes some kind of sacrifice just to make an impression in the industry and get your name out their, especially the creative industries. If that company makes it big, your son can feel proud that he helped these developers along their journey. Hopefully he doesn't share your cynical bitterness.

Think this is just a free weekend (Like they do for a lot of MP games), not the game free.

I'd have thought that too, but the other free weekend game says "Play for free! Ends in 2 days and 13 hours" and "Play FREE until Sunday at 1PM Pacific Time" whereas this don't, so it might be a permanent keep. I'd assume it is just the weekend though as it does say "Free Weekend"

Can you use a joystick with this game? I couldn't find a way to get it to work.
