I had an email offering me an extra 2000 minutes for FREE.
So I went on Live Chat to check if this was correct, and they confirmed it was. They then added the 2000 minutes to my tariff and my husband's (we are both with Three).
Will try and upload a snapshot of the proof.

i wonder how smaller companies like giffgaff can let you have 3 months of unlimited giff to giff when you top up a minimum of 5'er.

Trivia: Three used to have a pay-as-you-go tariff called 3Pay that gave you thousands of free minutes to Three customers with every £10 top-up.
Yes I know it's got nothing to do with this deal but I thought some may find it interesting.

I still have a couple of these, but last time i topped up was years ago, i just give it to my mum so i can phone her for free from my three contract

could you add that this offer is only available if you take a second contract out with three

They gave this to me for free at renewal, no second contract required.

I've just spoken to a three rep called Wendy. She was very careful with her words and when I quotes the deal she said she couldn't offer it to me at this time.
Anyway I've followed others and have just signed up with Vodafone and gone through quidco. Apparently £60 exclusive cashback. Just to cover myself and suss the cancellation process with Vodafone I called customer services who said they'd knock of 2 months line rental if I took it through them.
I would definitely go back to three if they offer me the £20 deal.

does it apply to sim only contracts?

Been trying to negotiate a better deal after receiving dreaded price increase letter. They wouldn't give me the extra 2000 mins on the £20 unlimited data tariff over the phone but they did it in-store without any issue.

seems to me that OP had bought 600 mins, may be you seldom go over 600 mins (especially unlikely to Three customers) so they give you 2000 mins to call Three customers, sounds good, able to realise this amount? unlikely, sounds like it is a ploy is to encourage you to recruit customers to Three on the cheap?

3 are so stingy with their minutes. I've now switched to EE

Was unlimited the last time i was with 3, so cold from me

It's been 2000 mins all the time I've been with 3 - which is 9 years. If you do an upgrade they will normally include it as part of that offer. I dunno if it's still on my tariff, as I have unlimited minutes anyway...

I think the point this lady is trying to make is that she got the minutes mid way through her contract which as far as I'm concerned is a good deal and irrelevant to whatever deal you previously got, cold-bandit.

Maybe.
Of course, just to confuse things, unlimited texts is treated as 5000....

Just read on my old 3 contract and it clearly states unlimited calls and texts to other 3 users.
They used to base unlimited as 2000 minutes and texts. Maybe that's the confusion
