Never understood why people would vote cold on freebies? I can only imagine people are happy nowadays when they're being told to pay for things...

I view it as 'does this freebie deserve to get more attention than the other freebies in this section?'.
For example I would regard a free (and good) game as being more worthy of attention than a free PlayStation theme.
