Until the weekend, IKEA are doing a free Father Christmas grotto in their cafe in Warrington. It's from 4.30 until 7 during the week and all day on the weekend, but it ends on the 13th.
The Father Christmas was really good as well, it wasn't busy so he spent ages with the kids, you could also take as many of your own photos as you liked, I've paid a lot more for a lot less!
It seems national, its advertised on all the store pages I checked, I was at Warrington so check times on your local stores page.
You also receive a voucher for a free soft toy, about six choices, some worth up to about £5, my kids got a cat and a dog glove puppet. You could have a pig, a teddy with a heart on it or a dragon finger puppet I think.
Says it was only for IKEA Family Card holders although I couldn't really see any restriction, maybe at the tills when you handed over your voucher. But its free to sign up.
They were also doing a Free make your own stocking in the cloth section, a pretty good one which required a sewing machine to make.
Possibly it is nationwide, I wouldn't know, not really sure how to check!

Just checked Cardiff store and it'S £8 for a visit and toy or £10 for a visit, toy and photo. Proceeds are for charity so no biggy paying.

Sorry didn't check them all, there was a charity bucket in Warrington, I guess they've not organised it as well so its free. Technically it was only free for card holders, I think it was technically £7 if you weren't. But there seemed to be no way of actually charging you.
