So Thunderbirds are back and Tracy Island is one of the must have toys this Christmas.
I thought I'd remind folks that you can make your own out of house hold junk by following the blue peter fact sheet. This might be great bit of retro entertainment to keep the kids amused during these gloomy dark nights.
My kids made one in the summer holidays and its actually lasted better than the cheaply made figures which I bought for them.
Another added bonus is you could send in photo's of your creation to bluepeter for a badge and get free entry to loads of attractions. Bonus.
I'd really like to see pictures of the "home made" efforts. Not one made for the telly.

We made one with our twins when the project was first aired.
Lots of enjoyment making the thing and was very heavily played with afterwards. It can also be easily repaired when disater hits Tracy island.Well worth the effort and not a tablet/pc in sight.

Ah the memories! 3 of my friends and myself made these with our boys ?? years ago. Cheap as chips to do.They were constantly played with and I think the lads had more fun because they made them themselves
