Just checked the Chromecast Offers app after buying a new Chromecast and saw four offers available:
Free £20 Credit if you've just bought a Chromecast
90 Days Free Google Play Music Subscription
2 Month Free NowTV Pass
Free Movie Rental via Google Play Store
I've been able to add in both the free £20 and the Free Movie rental!
To check if you've got it too:
Open the Chomecast App
Select your Device
Click on the Settings button and then 'Check for Offers' and it will take you to a page showing what you're eligible for.
This is *NOT* for the Audio version of Chromecast, it's for the HDMI version!

You can redeem the other £20 google play credit to the same account, that is not a problem. In regards of the promo codes for everything else, they will all be individual voucher codes, apart from Spotify which is just a generic link.

Yeah right you are, i just tried it and it said redeemed and showed me a used code.
So what If i redeem the other promo's i.e Spotify, Google Music and Now (if they are still valid) will clicking the link associate them with my account immediately, or provide me a code? I haven't selected or attempted to redeem them yet to date..
Then what should I do with my second Chromecast promotions, can the money be redeemed to the same account as the first? and what about the Google Music, Spotify and Now TV?
Thanks :innocent:

Can anyone tell me if the £20 promotional credit is still being shown when you click through to https://cast.google.com/chromecast/offers/ . The offer is still showing for me with a redeem button and when I select it.
It says:
You are about to add £20.00 to **my email address**
Gift Card & Promotion Code Terms and Conditions.
Followed by a Cancel and Confirm button.
If i push confirm again is it going to give me credit again?
It looks like it is, but im a bit worried about pushing it LOL

Guys ive already redeemed my £20 credit on one of my devices, is the rest of the stuff redeemed in the form of a code, or do i instantly need to take out the service?
Also I've still got a second unopened Chromecast 2 sitting in a box, can i redeem that £20 from that one to the same account that I redeemed the last Chromecast too?
And i'm i right in thinking that you have a year to use the credit by?

14 Jan 16#105
Thanks for clarifying that. May open another account and redeem it then, with 5 of us in the house there are usually arguments over who's devices after the main box connected to the TV gets NowTV as its capped at 4 devices.

If it's any help, I didn't have any luck with registering it with my PC, my daughter has a Chromebook and so I tried it on that and the credit went through straightaway after, as someone else has mentioned, rebooting it. You may have more luck trying with a tablet or if you have one a Chriomebook rather than a PC. I had two of these, created a second account for the other as they often do a free movie rental from time to time.

It looks like the 2 months NowTV movies isn't tied to the Chromecast, and can be used with an existing account; it has to be entered before the end of January.
The £20 Google voucher requires the Chromecast to be set up by 15th January (and expires mid- Jan 2017).
Tesco Direct sell the unit at £30, which is about the sum of the £20 Google plus the Now TV movies, so it's more of a deal than a freebie.

mrdtb is right. however, I personally find buying chromecast in UK is no brainer. I bought mine from wuaki Tv for £27 which gives me one of the latest movie. then every now and then, chromecast give offers like this. Google play credit £20 is very generous. last time on v1 was only £5. then 1 free movie rental, 3 months Google music, and then 2 months now TV. when you got such offer, quickly use them as they will have new batch of offers which applies to your existing chromecast. on v1, I got approx 3 batches of offers already. true that if you don't intend to buy things on Google play, your money shifted to an object that you will never purchase on the first place but I personally find the movies (now TV, crunchy rolls, free rental) are useful, giving me the access to all new movies throughout the year. for that, I find chromecast is really well worthed.
