I am a weekend road cyclist and looking for a good jacket. Whilst i popped into Lidl I found they had various promotions on cycling products . I bought this jacket and it feel like a quality product and looks good. If you are not a cycling fashion snob and need a jacket ,i think you will be happy with this. Hope this helps someone out.

Sweaty after only 70 miles. Sounds like you're out of shape....:smirk:

It's nothing to do with snobbery if you want to do 70 miles and NOT end up saturated in your own sweat! I use similar cheapo stuff for commuting but you'll essentially need decent quality stuff for sportives and the likes :sunglasses:

I agree . The price is low and it shouldn't be compared to products 2 or 3 times the price.

You will find it difficult to find this type of product for this price. I have actually bought one and the quality in my opinion is good. If you are on a budget i think this is a good buy

Just for my reference, can you suggest what's a good product in comparison if one wanted to spend 2/3/4 times more please?

I cycle daily to work all year round and just about all my clothing is Aldi or Lidl. Been good for temperature ranging from -10 to 25c and from dry to absolute cats and dogs of rain.

Owned a few over the years and I bought another yesterday. Good alternative for money but don't expect them to be breathable. You get what you pay for.

You can never please snobs! I've bought one yesterday and it's a nice quality jacket. Good alternative to wear.

I have Lidl/Aldi mtb/cycling gear besides other more named bits and can't fault Lidl/Aldi

I've got loads of Aldi\Lidl cycling and running gear. It's great value. Only problem is I've lost so much weight that even their smallest sizes are too big for me now.

Never tried Lidl cycling gear as there's an Aldi close to me, so I buy from there. They seem to have their cycling stuff come out at similar times-has anyone seen anything similar in Aldi yet?
