Massively disappointed by Forza 7’s loot system, even more so to learn that they’re actually intending to allow players to pay to win by incorporating a digital currency to purchase these boxes with real life cash.
The game looks beautiful and I enjoyed what I played last night, sadly it looks like 7 was the year of greed for Forza. Gone are the days of turning off assists for extra credits, now you’ll have to get your hand in your pocket.
Admittedly these crates can be bought with credits earned, but I wish we could remove the desire to implement these ‘loot crates’ into video games, even more so in a driving simulator.

WOW im actually shocked that a racing game has a loot system.... i do approve how ever of loot boxers OVER a season pass method.

A game has to offer something worthwhile for me to actually purchase additional DLC, as I imagine it does for most. I'd take chargeable extra content over Pay to Win tactics any day.

Well your in luck cos this has both! Plus no more credits for increasing the difficulty. Gated cars in tier lists so you have to purchase several cars you don't want or intend to use before you can buy the ones you do want, thereby increasing the allure of paying for loot boxes

So we can't turn off assisted immediately ?

Sorry, you can turn off assists, you just won't be bonus credited for doing so like in previous games.

Really? Wow, I mean I can understand just letting people buy their way to rewards, if people want to pump their money in I say let them. But when you change the gameplay mechanics themselves to artificially increase the grind or remove earned in game items altogether that's a problem. Doing a massive skill chain in FH3 was so fun.

couldn't agree with you more buzz, mega disappointed that I couldn't get any extra xp from turning my usual assists off and racing with clutch ext. actually put me off playing the game. the vip addon has also made it worthless as I do not get double credit now like on Forza horizon 3. killed the game for me this has. I'm actually bored of it already. looks absolutely stunning but fh3 much more fun for me.

MS seem very lax about refunding Ultimate according to many sources.
The feedback on the VIP DLC (USA Store) demonstrates why.
I actually feel cheated in buying the ultimate edition.. I should have just purchased the standard version!
oh let's not been mention the loading times of the races.. Jesus Christ!!!

May seem petty but Ive got a relatively large investment in the Forza brand and not quite sure i can fully justify the additional investment with my pre order of Scorpio with this shameful display of greed by TT.

received a million credits today and 4 exclusive cars to download as a vip member... seems like it's a small attempt as an apology to vip members.
