I want this but I also know it'll be £9.99 by Christmas. Got stung so many times with collectors editions

Any edition. I'm not for paying full price for these Bethesda published games again, not including Elder Scrolls and Fallout, as they're half price in a matter of weeks and you can eventually get 3 of them for £20!

'Eventually' is a pretty vague term.

OK. Given Game's 3 for £20 charity event posted by Buzz on 28 July:
Doom - 423 days Fallout 4 - 626 days Dishonored 2 - 259 days Elder Scrolls Online - 780 days
I got burned by many of them including the last Wolfenstein and Prey was the final straw for me. No more Bethesda published games at launch for me, unless it's a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game as they take me forever to play. It's sickening seeing them drop like a stone before I've even completed them!

If those are days since release then with the exception of Dishonoured they are all over a year old ESO is two there aren't many games that aren't published by Nintendo that would hold their value for that length of time.

Do people really buy special edition games for £90 plus pounds the game will be 25 pound in a few months

To be fair some are worth it in terms of value now.
A few examples being The Last of Us Post Pandemic Edition, Assassins Creed II Black Edition or Ni No Kuni White Witch Edition.
Although you do get ones that totally flop like Recore.
This one I'm unsure of, even at this price it looks rough, even taking into account the whole point seems to be that it's actually going for that cheap Poundland knock-off Action Man intentionally.

If you don't see a point in collectors editions then fair enough but I feel this deal isn't really for you. Me, as a sucker for gaming tat, am glad this was posted as £90 was too much for me but I am willing to go to £60. Thanks OP.

I do feel collectors editions have gotten worse in general lately some of the thing s you get now for the price are pretty questionable such as the Destiny 2 and it’s Messenger bag but for this price i think there are far worse have some heat

In regards to getting them cheaper I think this can be a lottery, the vast majority of them do end up cheap and on offer take for example the Uncharted 4 Libertalia Edition but others like Nier Automata Black Box Edition or Horizon Zero Dawn Collectors Edition have only gone up in price.

I'm not even particularly fussed about this game, but I love Collector's Editions. Bah.
