was looking to buy a Northface waterproof jacket with fleece lining inside to gift my partner - essentially something which can be used as autumn/spring wear, not a proper winter jacket.. I think this model (quest) does not have a lining inside - any suggestions pls?
thanks , the model comes with hood too -so fits waht i was looking for .. will take a look and hope amazon does a lightning deal on that one
edit: just read the Q&a and realised its not a fleece lining just a mesh one so looks like that's not for me

The Northface 'Highland' jacket is the one you want, I've been wearing one the last few years and its been great. Totally waterproof and tough wearing, but with a little insulation for when its cold, breathable and with zip vents for when its warm. Even in mid winter I just wear a gilet underneath. Highly recommended if you can get a deal on it.

The Triclimate range are worth checking out, removable fleece, 100% polyamide outer, so they are Ultra waterproof, occasionally available at T K Maxx at around 50% below retail.

Awful jacket, really! The quality of North Face has gone down the toilet in recent years. Cost cutting with the manufacturing and materials means that most of their costs feel and look cheap. 3 of the last ones I've bought have torn around the zip in a matter of months.

This one has been this price for few weeks as I've been looking for a jacket for my hubby lately but think cheap for a reason most men won't want this color there's another deeper blue or brown around 45 quid
