Is it an IPS lcd or VA LCD, it makes a big difference. You would not buy a car without knowing if the engine is petrol or diesel

Probably VA panels, better contrast, most UK TV magazine reviews say VA panel TVs are best. I.e better for watching movies

It's IPS, so compared to a VA panel has poor black levels, but excellent viewing angles. If your main usage is watching movies then get something with a VA panel, but this is a decent choice for gaming or standard TV watching.
It's also worth reading up on the Android TV OS, as it has some performance issues on these Sony sets and isn't for everyone.
