Samsung S8 at £689 less a trade in value of £156. Total amount payable is £533 spread across a 24 month term at an interest rate of 0% p.a. (fixed) equating to monthly payments of £19.99 and an initial deposit of £53.30. 0% APR representative.
Good if you have an old phone in a drawer - I had an S3. Also eligible to claim the free gear vr and controller.
Trade in offer ends on the 8th though so be quick.
I couldn't find any way to actually buy the handset outright so took the finance of 0%.

This deal is NOT eligible for the free VR - you HAVE to buy from the retailers listed below. I am on the phone to Samsung now to hopefully get them to change their T&Cs.
The following network providers and retailers: Amazon.co.uk, Argos, Carphone Warehouse (UK and Ireland), EE, Eir, John Lewis, Littlewoods (UK and Ireland), O2, Tesco (UK and Ireland), Three (UK and Ireland), Virgin Mobile, Very, Vodafone (Ireland only)

The full T&C's actually state:
The following network providers and retailers:
Amazon.co.uk, AO.com, Argos, Carphone Warehouse (UK and Ireland), EE, Eir, Giffgaff,
John Lewis, Littlewoods (UK and Ireland), Mobile Phones Direct, O2, Three (UK and
Ireland), Virgin Mobile, Very, Vodafone (Ireland only) plus selected business and
enterprise resellers, solutions providers and network operators. Participants must check
with their reseller, solutions provider or network operator to establish whether they are a
Participating Retailer before purchase.
So there is flexibility -the fact it tells you that you can get one all the way through to purchase on the Samsung website makes me think claims that come from Samsung will be honoured.

You won't get the Gear VR in the box - it's a separate claim entirely.

From the T&C's it's quite clear that you can't redeem the VR headset when buying the phone using trade in, as this is another offer' from the promoter. The agent you have contacted has most likely given you the wrong information, but since you have an email from them claiming that you are eligible you might get lucky if you persist with them for the headset. I doubt that many people's claims will be accepted for it though in 30 days time.

Seems legit, and they seem to be open about not being Uk based...
They have a good rating on trustpilot if that helps, but as always buying online is risky even from reputable company's, and it's always best to reserch a company before you buy anything
The problem with this persons phone is its been flashed (has Chinese software on it) if your a little tech savvy (You must be 100% it dont void your warranty if you have one) you can always get a Uk Stock rom from sammobile
and flash the phone using Odin with Uk software this would give you all Uk apps and security updates etc. for example i just re flashed my S5 from Android 6.0 back to 5.0, Takes about 5-10 mins.
Although its all very easy be warned if you dont know about flashing phones reserch and make sure you have a good grasp on it and can sort thing if things go wrong (always back anything up you can before messing) then you could brick your phone and have to pay some idiot a lot of money to do it for you

Slighting that the offers are stock dependant. I even spoke to a guy who appeared to be management but he was an arrogant t*t who eventually told me to cancel and re-order and i *may* be eligible to qualify via promotions team. I had an email to confirm the VR offer is NOT available in conjunction with the trade in offer. Hopefully you will be OK if your one of the lucky ones to get written confirmation that you'll receive it, but if not it does not look good for getting the VR. If the VR was an important factor in ordering the phone I would consider returning it. You can try John Lewis to price match the £589 deal, sell your trade in phone on eBay and still get the VR so you will be better off. If your not bothered about the VR and your trade in phone is worthless then this might still be a decent deal.

ALSO, you didn't get in touch with Samsung directly but the Samsung Promotional support team, they can only quote what they read.
I contacted Samsung Shop, my supplier

Hi Naomi! If you choose to take advantage of our trade in offer, we're afraid you won't also be eligible for the Gear VR offer.
uk.trustpilot.com/rev…tar
They have a good rating on trustpilot if that helps, but as always buying online is risky even from reputable company's, and it's always best to reserch a company before you buy anything
The problem with this persons phone is its been flashed (has Chinese software on it) if your a little tech savvy (You must be 100% it dont void your warranty if you have one) you can always get a Uk Stock rom from sammobile
sammobile.com/fir…es/
and flash the phone using Odin with Uk software this would give you all Uk apps and security updates etc. for example i just re flashed my S5 from Android 6.0 back to 5.0, Takes about 5-10 mins.
Although its all very easy be warned if you dont know about flashing phones reserch and make sure you have a good grasp on it and can sort thing if things go wrong (always back anything up you can before messing) then you could brick your phone and have to pay some idiot a lot of money to do it for you
Anyone know the complaints department cos notbing else is working?
Too much confusion over this so i will be returning mine....
