The Rain-X Value Pack contains the 200ml Rain Repellent and 200ml Anti-Fog Solutions.
The Rain-X Value Pack contains two essential items that will ensure
your windscreen remains clear throughout your journey, both inside and
out, whatever the weather.
Rain-X Rain Repellent will ensure visibility remains at its best when
driving in wet weather. The hydrophobic coating will ensure raindrops
fly off your windscreen when travelling at speeds of 30MPH and higher.
It will also make for easy removal of frost and ice in the cold weather.
Rain-X Anti-Fog is designed to eliminate interior condensation caused
by wet weather, temperature changes and high humidity levels. This will
ensure you can get on your way much quicker when these conditions are
present.

What is this! Never seen this before, does it actually work?

Both good products. Voted hot!
RainX beads rain on the windscreen meaning when travelling at greater speeds than 30-40mph the droplets will just flow off the windscreen without the need for the wipers to be on. Best to put the stuff in an old spray bottle then spray it on the windscreen and then spread it using a microfibre cloth. Best to re-do every 6-8 weeks - a bottle this size should easily last you more than a year.
The anti-fog you put on the inside of the windscreen - to stop it misting up when the air is damp!
Combine this with the £5 back from Amex and you could get 4 bottles for just £5. hotukdeals.com/dea…459

Yep. Use this stuff all the time. More effective at higher speeds ie motorway driving. Creates a beading effect on windscreen so you'll hardly need to use wipers to see

Can be good around 30mph if applied correctly.

YES it works but slightly confused, the Rain-X does not just bead water but it is also anti-fog itself. So far works perfectly, brought it for £3 on Amazon
Not sure how the anti-fog works, as the rain-X can be used inside and outside and leaves a coating. Seems they are marketing a weaker solution to use inside the car - my guess
The Rain X is good but make sure your screen is clean before you apply it. I have never tried the anti fog. If I can get it for £5 I will give it a try.

So when I get stopped for speeding I can just say the visibility at 50 is much better than 30 :nerd:

Instead of using rain x anti fog I find that shaving gel works very well

So do I, but the razor blades leave scratches all over the windscreen.

Maybe it's me, but tried the rain repellent on both our cars and when the wipers go to clear any rain, the windscreen blurs for a couple of seconds. Couldn't wait for it to wear off!!

Same here only it took months to wear off. Really damaged my windscreen.

Great price. I use the trigger spray glass cleaner on the house windows after cleaning them. Keeps them clear for longer. This stuff works really well (if you follow the instructions, it's horrendous if you don't)

I've been usin RainX for years and it's Brilliant BUT ONLY if you follow the directions (which isn't rocket science) a clean window is a must then apply leave for 5 minutes to dry then mist with water and tissue off -- I always do this twice to be sure to be sure lol lasts about 3/4 months just did mine two days ago first time from July

Is there any point in using this for predominantly town driving?

Depends how fast you drive around town

pretty poor for city driving, eg. under 30-40 miles/h, you have to use wipers and they make rainx dissapear quickly, I applied once and won't try again unless for eurotrip etc

would this be any good for a rear window without a wiper. I need to be able to mount a rear facing camera and need to see out of the window & didn't factor in the lack of wiper !

Heard this works well on bathroom mirrors to keep them demisted, can't vouch for it myself though

I find over winter the frost doesn't get quite as good a grip on the screen with RainX on making it easier to clear on those frosty mornings. Been using RainX on my motorcycle visors for donkeys years, There is another product whose name escapes me at the minute that is meant to be a little better but the cost was greater so I never bothered with it.

I bought the RainX Anti Fog product before and it does work. However, at night time when the street light shines on to the windscreen, it makes the windscreen glare really bad.
