Not sure how I feel about this tbh. More money to Sony music or a nice way to own an album that's original release is quite rare on vinyl?
Personally I associate this album with tape cassette!

Make sure you click the option to 'dispatch in Amazon box' when checking out, otherwise the cellophane cover is likely to be the only thing protecting the LP in transit. I attempted to buy one of these at £7.99 around a year ago and it was sent without any packaging and was completely trashed. They would only offer a refund and said I could re-order the LP, but the price had more than doubled by that time.

My recent vinyl purchases from Amazon have come in stiff cardboard - like proper record packaging.

Most of mine do too, but every so often they just put a shipping label on the LP and send it 'as is' - which I guess is more likely with something heavily discounted.
