After the rollercoaster of thrills and excitement that was last nights England V Slovenia game I'm not sure I could take any more delirium, but as these matches are free or heavily reduced I may just have my arm twisted to watch some proper football. *Paper Planes not needed.
Following another successful event last year, Non-League Day (NLD) will return for an eighth consecutive season on 7 October 2017.
NLD was launched in 2010 as an event to give non-league clubs in the English National League System a chance to promote themselves during an international break when Premier League and EFL Championship clubs have the weekend off and England are not playing on the Saturday.

Already going to the football on Sat. Would go to a match if any are on Sunday, but from the site it doesn't tell you.
No. It's rubbish! Seems there are no Sunday games. Also a reduced amount as many are playing in the FA Trophy.

Heavily reduced football? Is that a golf ball then?

Heat added OP as I'd rather go watch players who play because they enjoy the sport, over a bunch of overpaid prima donnas anyday.

As a Wrexham fan, I find Non-League day getting less and less media attention every year, it’s a shame as like Shay (Halifax fan..?) mentioned, its nice to watch players try their best and be a part of the community, rather than live in their Cheshire mansions on £100,000 a week minimum. COYR

It peeves me off that people go and watch the likes of Utd, Liverpool, Rangers and Celtic from NI when we have a perfectly good product on our local doorstep (as proved on Monday night's Glentoran v Crusaders live game on Sky). Support your local side even if it is Non League because the more go and watch, the more likely your side will succeed. It's much more fun when success is a luxury and not a requirement.
I love my local side, Glentoran and support nobody else. Even when we're stuffed just like Monday, the footballs exiting even if it's not world class.
