I've had codes honoured on consoles (including the Nintendo Switch) however that was when they were in stock and I paid for the next day delivery.

Yes but you can get cheaper that this and can be paid straight away. It clearly states here it’s not eligible for preorders and electronic orders. Read T&C for this code...

I personally think just for console and to save some pounds not worth to have credit account it does affects credit as well.

It doesn’t if you paying straight away. I got 5 accounts so far and it never affected my credit. With Zavvi you’ll never get this honoured as it’s clearly violates their T&C.
