Got this cheap on ebay the other day else I would have snapped this up heat.

I really enjoyed it. Finished the story yesterday and was very happy I bought it. Was cute and charming. Had some funny moments too. Would love to see them making another game someday but for now I need to 100% everything in it and I'm also waiting for the dlc for more (I don't really like buying dlc). if I didn't have a big backlog of games, then I would be playing it all over again.

How are people finding this? I've not bitten the bullet on this game yet

Thanks, i'm new to this 'online' lark
Thanks @Mccy_McFlinn I'm going to take the plunge and go for it
I really enjoyed the game - far more challenging than I imagined it would be. It's the first game that I've done 100% of all activities/missions in a long, long time. Well worth it for this price if you're even remotely interested in turn-based strategy games.
I even found the Rabbids amusing at times and certainly never annoying (as they have the capacity to be). Highly recommended overall.

I haven't played it yet but nearly all the reviews and "top lists" I have read list it as the surprise must have, it wasn't on my radar at all but looks like quite a deep game bizarrely hidden under a Rabbids skin...

Wasn't sure if I'd like it but ended up loving it. Some of the humour is a bit cheesy but the gameplay and strategy is top notch.
Really great game, had me hooked

With most games, I tend to just get to the credits and be done with it. Very rarely do I go back for what is often tacked on nonsense to get to 100%, such as collecting 1000 arbitrary objects, horde modes and so on. But I absolutely rinsed this game, I couldn't put it down until I got 100% everything. It's absolutely fantastic, well worth this price and I will definitely be on board for DLC!

Don't forget the £5 promotional credit when topping up £20 at a Paypoint
Maybe I didn't give it the time of day but I found it repetitive and boring. It now sits in its case doing nothing, the same as all the Switch games. Hopefully Mario Odyssey will change all of that.

I never sell the games, even if no one plays them. So far we've got Zelda (which I played to death), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (same as Wii U), Street fighter (same old Street fighter), Arms (decent enough for a bit of fun), Bomberman (not as good as the old school versions), Splatoon 2 (a good game, but same as Wii U) and this Rabbids game...
The Wii U gets used everyday (40+ games), the switch was used last on this Mario Rabbids release date. I'm really surprised the Switch is getting the sales it has when currently the Wii U is better value (albeit as a home console and not a handheld). However in time when more games are released, I'm certain the Switch will be amazing just like the Wii U.

I think you nailed it on the head regarding the portable vs home only part. I hardly have the time to play my traditional consoles but I play every day on my commute on the switch which means that when I do play at home, I would rather continue my journeys on the switch games on the TV instead of my traditional consoles.
I do fully understand though how that isn't the same for anyone who mainly games at home.

I've heard its quite challenging? do you think it would be too hard for a 10 year old?

I'd say you might need to help out in the last world (there are four worlds) with a few tips but I think it would be perfect for a 10 year old - provided that 10 year old has time on their hands and a mild sense of perseverance to experiment with the characters on offer.
You also have the option of an Easy Mode before each battle which restores HP and gives you an icrease to the maximum HP of each character. A useful option when all seems too much.
Definitely recommended.

I think it’s a system, and a game, built for children to enjoy. So you would like to think Mario and rabbids would be appropriate for a ten year old.
