i brought this washer for my mother last mothersday. I think its criminal for them to claim its 9kg load.
now go to the LG website and compare other 9kg models with its drum volume.
this is more like a 8kg. robbing thiefs..... plus this is a currys specific model.

Got the silver model. Great machine but occasionally leaks from the front. Have 5 year warranty so will get it fixed free

Got this last Friday when it dropped to £389 with the voucher. Luckily contacted Currys about the price drop and been refunded the £20 drop.

We have this washer, bought for a similar price around 6 months ago. It is good value when you consider the warranty, direct drive and load. The programs are a little complicated to begin with, they're not your usual label washes and whilst some are quick some of the regular washes take close to 4 hours! It's noisy to begin with, seems to be the water filling and the hammer noise from the pipes. It's almost silent when running until the spin when it bounces / moves on our floorboarded floor. It washes our clothes well and seems efficient, would definitely recommend.

Seems like yours is way unbalanced - are the very suitably adjusted and level etc.?
You did remove the transit bolts, didn't you?

Its all level and yes.... the transit bolts were removed  Our floor is springy anyway, it's this causing the washer to bounce, it would be fine on a more stable surface!

The hammer noise could be removed by restricting the flow of water using the mains tap.

Yep, but then I won't get the flow I like for other stuff like the shower, taps etc... It's not a major problem and I understand it's more to do with our pipework than the washer but I'd read it on other reviews for this machine when deciding which to buy, so its maybe more exagerated on this one?

If you're thinking that the smart app feature will be useful - forget it. Check the ratings on Google Play. Basically it doesn't work.

There was a 5 year warranty when I bought this from Currys 6 weeks ago for the same money. Quick wash is ok if you want the clothes to come out wet, as you can only set either 400 or 800 rpm spin with it.
