For those who aren't aware, Humble's Monthly bundle is a subscription service offering a 'curated bundle of games' each month, for $12. These are for PC and the great majority will redeem on Steam.
There's always one (or more) game that headlines the bundle and is announced in advance and available immediately, with the remainder of the bundle not revealed in advance, becoming available on the first Friday of each month, Typically, a complete bundle will contain eight games in total
Various subscription plans are available, starting with a monthly recurring plan for $12/month, then 3, 6 or 12-month plans at an increasingly lower effective monthly cost.
A 12-month plan costs $132 (approx $99.59, using today's exchange rate), i.e., $11 month.
However, right now Humble are offering $10 account credit (about £7.50) if you subscribe at this level. For existing subscribers, this also works if you renew your subscription now, extending it by 12 months.
This offer lasts until 10am PST (6pm UK time) Friday 6 October.
Subscribers also benefit from a 10% discount off other purchases from the Humble Store (thanks to RidleyDeckard for the reminder to mention this!)

Based on the 6 month sub, and a PayPal checkout, the saving is £8.18. £7.54 for the $10 conversion and the 64p difference between two 6 months and a year.
Can I be awarded with boring comment of October?

How do you get to the 64p? Two 6-month subs are $134, compared to $132 for 12 months.
We're of course talking small amounts - this is more out of interest than anything else!

It was a comparison of the two subs (obviously 2 x 6 months) at the PayPal checkout.
The 12 month offer is £101.98 2 x 6 months is £102.62
Difference of 64p.

Odd - I'm not sure what's going on there. The difference should be $2.

Wonder how many people will buy a game from HB with that credit only to find it in a monthly bundle during the next year.
It's obviously a nice bonus but for me it doesn't do enough to offset not knowing what I'm getting for my £100.

This puts it back to around the price it was per month before the Brexit vote.

I've subscribed to this for around 6 months and all in all i'd say it's well worth the cost. Had a few dissapointing gamse in it but all in all been very happy with the games i've received.

Who has the time and inclination to play through 8 games every month? Is the idea to stockpile them before unsubscribing again?

Now it is - cheers for the reminder!
You'll not necessarily want to play every game offered for a given month, but eight games is enough that there should be plenty to play, regardless of your tastes, and the pricing is such that it's usually good value even discounting any games that don't appeal. There's also a fairly active market for 'spares', albeit not within Humble's terms.

The one thing that hasn’t been mentioned is that a subscription also give you 10% off all store purchases.

I bought it and the wallet credit didnt come through for some reason, messaged support and they said I had subbed recently so credited me £10 anyway. So just message them and probably.
