It was broadcast in SD originally so transferring it to HD BluRay won't necessarily make the quality any better... unless they are going back to the original film negatives, which | suppose is a possibility. I can't remember if any studio scenes were shot on video, if they were then these parts would be SD interlaced and the film parts HD progressive. Or is there something I am missing?

I seem to recall The Silent Scream was the one with Peter Cushing and Brian Cox (the actor not the science bloke) - excellent episode.

To this day I still can't watch the werewolf and house that bled to death episodes without feeling uncomfortable - thanks to my responsible baby sitter allowing me to stay up and watch the series when it was first broadcast when I was 8!
