Been looking for pre order deals. Seems to be about £5 less than elsewhere.
Anyone experienced Simply Games before?

I've only made one purchase from them, Horizon Zero Dawn, so not a huge experience. However, it was a "not for resale" version with the cover in multi language. Tried to return for a refund but was told to pay return postage. Sold it on eBay as a buy it now for the same price, with lots of photo's showing which version it was, so the buyer new exactly what they were buying unlike the purchase from Simply Games which failed to mention the version. Some on here say good things about Simply Games.

I love the GT series and put some serious hours into the last couple of installments. This, however, I cannot support. It's basically online only with the single player "campaign" nothing more than glorified license tests. Calling it a campaign mode is an insult.
Oh, and there's only around 130 cars or so. Compared to over a thousand from the last game. £40? Not paying £4 for this. Should have called this GT Online to make it clear where the focus is. Steer well clear if you play the series for the single player.

The 100 odd cars are only what people have seen in the trailers that have been released, that’s what I read in a forum

As a beta player, the game is incredible.
Definitely one for the purists but there will be plenty of free dlc and support from Polyphony throughout the game's lifetime.
Saving up for a wheel atm...

Kaz has said the game is 15% online. So no it isn't "Online only".

Please don't listen to Just one side of the coin. The flipside of his only way's to jab at It's Career mode are irrelevant. For the first time in the series they are trying something different. Every game most people play these days has online functionality. GT Sport is centred around the FIA Motorsport integration with the real world. They aim to give players a sense of realism by competing in Nationwide & Worldwide events Officially endorsed by the FIA. It's a new exciting way to bring players back in. What really wins the game over the driving physics have been reworked from the ground up on this from GT6. It feels very GT & If you like the way cars have handled in the past in Gran Turismo you'll feel right at home.
They have made massive improvements in the sound quality over the last games & The graphics are superb. Yes It doesn't have a traditional GT Mode from GT2/GT4 etc. Yes It doesn't Include 500+ Standard Model Cars (PlayStation 2 Up Res'd) But they have focussed on Quality over Quantity and I feel they've struck the balance Just right.
It feels so solid on a Wheel & those that want to play by themselves can still easily do that in a car that they wish to in Arcade Mode & also in Sport Mode. Time Trial Cups/Competitions were a huge thing in GT6 (Seasonal Events) Which make their return in another form in the Sport Mode.
Having played the early builds of GT Sport since It's reveal right up to now It's improved in every way and If you love racing games I fully recommend giving this a try.

Never ever use Gameseek. Terrible Customer service. A Team of about 4 People all useless and rude but one. Pre Ordered Dirt Rally with them for Release day and I never received it. Made me wait a full two weeks before I got a Refund. Was livid. They couldn't confirm any dispatch information so therefore weren't responsible If It went missing. How convenient! Not one apology or a care in the world for what happened to me so I vowed to never use them again. I warn you all If you want It on release day definitely got with Base.com or Simply Games as they're very good at shipping the games out early for definitive release dates.

Heat added, I've already ordered the Steelbook edition from Amazon but this is also a great deal, for those wondering about the single player campaign there's a limited 4 day demo coming out soon so you can try it and decide then.

There's no offline campaign but the online is really well done. Livery editor and scapes will entertain me for hours
