Was in Waitrose in Croydon and they were selling the 35cl bottles of Grey Goose vodka for £12. Only had one bottle left so obviously I had to have it. Seems a good deal.

£12 in my store, so appears it is. Not a vodka fan so didn’t partake, good spot for those that are.

You can get a liter of smart price vodka for the same price as this and I bet you won't be able to blind taste the difference if drank out the freezer neat or in a mixer.

I bet a pound to a pinch of **** you could. Ive tried cheap vodkas and they are fowl with a horrendous after taste. Grey goose is expensive but it is pure quality and extremely smooth. I guess you can't tell the difference between heinz beans and aldi beans either then. That or you have no tongue.

If anything, Grey Goose would be fowl.

I take it from "would be" which is not "is" you have never tried it so you stick to glens. Its all down to taste.

Its down to personal preference though, im not a big drinker and i treated myself to a bottle around £30 (was a few years back) but i honestly prefer lidl Rachmananhoff vodka £8 a bottle. But i never was a classy drinker in the day just get as smashed as fast and cheap as possible lol

Am sorry but youv been brainwashed by clever marketing. Vodka is just water and alchol, it all tastes pretty much the same out the freezer(best way to drink it) no matter what you distill it from. All "inpurities" have been removed from excessive filtration. With whisky it's the "inpurities" that give the flavour to the spirit. Not bashing vodka,I like it. I dare you to buy a bottle of smart price stick it in the freezer and compare it to your fancy £30+ bottle with a cork.

I am sorry but i Don't drink vodka out of the freezer due to having sensitive teeth. I havn't been brainwashed. I drink the vodkas that i drink based on taste and what i like. I am not convinced by clever ad campaigns due to being quite capable of making my own mind up as to what i like. I like grey goose because i like grey goose. Not because i am told to like you are implying.

Are you sure? There's a news article where they did a blind vodka test. People who said Grey Goose was there favourite vodka before the test actually voted it the least favourite when blind tested. There is no reason for vodka to be expensive as its unaged spirit. The only reason for the price is clever marketing. Here's the link abcnews.go.com/202…973

Clearly you have never tried it so why what use is your input on this thread? Grey goose is the best medium range vodka on the market. The difderence between this and even smirnoff is night and day.

I couldn't agree more but when your up against someone who is just assuming what it tastes like you might as well give up. Ive tried grey goose many times and i think its awsome. They can stick to their cheapo vodka with added anti freeze.

Your wrong iv purchased grey goose a few times in the past but am more a single malt drinker. Best way to drink vodka is neat out the freezer. I bet you can't tell the difference out the freezer.
