Great price. Would be tempted to get this but have the DC58 already and the head looks the same so not sure what benefit this gives over previous models not labelled as ‘mattress’.

Does this work on carpets?

Only if they're as deep as a mattress

This is a vacuum cleaner you can use for literally one task... Why on Earth would you shell out £140 for it instead of plucking up the extra for a superior model?

Let’s hope you are not being serious, but just in case you are it comes with other attachments as well.

It comes with the crevice tool, yes. But even still, it makes it one foot long. Absolutely bizarre how anyone can look at this and think "Wow fantastic deal".

Compare it with what it is, it’s not a big dyson or even one with an extension tube. They are just rechargeable vacuums and yes they are expensive but that’s a dyson for you.

Why are thick people always so confident despite being so incorrect?
This is not only for mattresses! In fact, this is exactly the same as the Trigger Pro model, except it has a filter in that picks up more allergens. Making it ideal for items such as mattresses... or ANYTHING ELSE.
How on earth do you think it would prevent you from vacuuming any other surface? A little ultrasound detector on the front that shuts the unit down if it's not being used on a mattress-type material? My word.

No need to have a cry on a deals site mate... Calm down...
This is a crap deal. You're getting a tiny little device good for hoovering car seats, mattresses and maybe sofas. What else could you use this for?
Lay off the insults, it's pathetic.

Wait, so it can vacuum three things? I thought you said it was only one. Or maybe it's four?
I do believe you were the one crying over this deal actually, "mate".

I've read the whole thread and its you thats crying, its a pity that after 7 years and 79 comments that 1 of your 10 posts a year is to call people idiots. Id calm down or you could easily polish off yours entire years posts right here on this one thread in the space of a hour  .

Haha, yep, you got me - how embarrassing that I don't use HUKD very often! But not exactly surprising when it's full of people that can't work out what a vacuum cleaner is used for.

Has anyone actually ever purchased one of these?!

I think it would be better to make it as an extension to add to you existing vacuum. No one will have a separate machine for mattress, drapes, dusting, sofas, toaster lol but their marketing will work on some people.

I'll stick with my Hetty then. She works well on the mattress. :sunglasses:

Have got the Absolute which comes with that head too (plus a normal and hard floor head) and I swear it is supposed to be for stairs.
