Are these safe to carry? Any inputs on fire risks?

Anker is one of the best known and safest brands for these out there. You can’t get much better than this

The compact size of this is really appealing but the single output is a bit of a deal-breaker for me unfortunately, makes a big difference when travelling. Heated for the price tho...

I have a similar model. It is one the most useful things you can have with you. But does not fast charge my S6. Only regular cable charge

Lol... As I've said a dozen times in these posts, don't waste your money and buy the powercore+. It will fast charge a variety of devices, including nexus,pixel,s6. And it's reasonable on OnePlus5, not dash, but still good.

It’s not a ‘waste of money’ - not everyone wants to fast charge, it heats up your battery and reduces lifespan. Can’t say I’ve ever missed not having fast charge really

I bought one of these yesterday- hope it doesn't burn my house down lol
I would choose a Xiaomi for less money for 10,000mAh. This one for example has an aluminium housing plus an extra USB type C port, for £12.56 delivered (from China):
The main appeal for the Anker product is its a trusted brand (not to say Xiaomi isn't), sold in the UK and by Amazon with its great and simple return policy and 1-day delivery for prime customers or 3+ for non. Taking those factors into consideration its a better buy and buying experience now and in the possible future (after sales if required, where it maybe an issue through Gearbest)

I have different products from Anker for the 4 years and never had any problems. They are much better than other so called big brands. Their customer service is top notch if you ever need it.

Well said. And with batteries it's not worth cutting corners, I will gladly pay a little more for a quality product (engineered in the USA for these I think). Anker + Amazon = some of the best customer service out there (if you ever need it). I've only had to criticise one Anker product which was a tempered glass screen protector where the silicone adhesive started to come away after a few months, they refunded me in a few hours. I have Anker power banks from 4 years ago still holding the same charge they did when new.

Heat, I have a number of power packs. And have to say the anker ones seem to stay cooler and generally better built. Big anker fan.
