I'd be in like a shot if I didn't already have a pair of AKGs. Especially at that price. Good effort. Heat added.

Got them and like them very much. They feel a bit old fashioned, comfortable and produce honest, clean sound.

No idea as I've never heard their work; are they a Drum n Bass act?

I think, they are designed to produce a neutral, true to life sound. I hate stuff that goes BOOM BOOM BOOM, and they are not like that.

Standard 3.5mm. Small. It comes with a 6.35mm adapter.

I find they lack a bit of bass compared to Sennheisers in the equivalent range, but they make up for that in excellent separation - the stereo image is really spacious. I'm actually using my AKGs in preference to my Sennheisers for that reason, but then again I don't listen to bass-heavy music much of the time.

Are these flimsy? Seems like they're quality isn't as good as it used to be

If you like the style, I just bought these Betron retro ones - amazon.co.uk/dp/…TPl
I got em in a lightning deal a couple of days back for £15.99. They're £20 now. They're so comfortable and amazing sound quality. (Very good bass without taking the highs away)
Betron for me, from now on.
Hope this helps someone.

I owned a pair of more expensive, highly regarded AKGs, but sold them on because of the severe lack of bass and a very noticeable peak in the treble.

It seems the higher up the AKG models you go, the less bass they have.
