The night lens is very well rated. It is also wifi enabled. Also has an assist to make sure you don't get too close to cars or out of lane (the feature is meant to be so-so)

Good price, I have this and the quality is really good and the app is very nice.
Comparing to the AUKEY dash that's been posted the past couple of days it's definitely better, plus you get full 60 fps compared to 30 fps with the AUKEY.
At standard prices I'd go with the AUKEY as this isn't £40 better.

I actually ordered the Aukey earlier today but cancelled that and bought this as the difference in price was only £4.26 and this one does have better reviews and features.

Looked through the Amazon questions and found their site. May help some with a bit more info:
There are great in terms of features and reasonably reliable
The downside is they're super-noticeable in your car (being white and tripod-mounted you may-as-well write "CAMERA TO STEAL" on your sunstrip! ) If you're not worried about that (and I think the days of dashcam thefts are gone given they're so cheap) - not a problem (some say, the white means it doesn't get cooked in summer)
Also - you run the risk of the app demanding your first-born child as a permission - but that's common to every Wifi/Dashcam which uses one ;0

It's suction cup mounted as are most dashcams. It's grey not white - but even then you could always stick some black tape over it.

Do you have any recommendations for a more discreet one? as im not too keen on like you said "Camera To Steal" type

before I have hid mine inside a small toy with the stuffing removed - much less obvious. you can also take the camara apart if you are that way inclined and extend the wires to the lens so you can hide the actual camara, all not worth it in my opinion as I don't think people actualy want to steal them?

I have had a YI for half a year now - excellent in my opinion, mine is all in Chinese - but uses a grapic interface so no problems

Reviews mainly seem to originate in Fairytale land:
Thanks for letting me know and something to hear in mind though the comparison site I linked to was the main reason for buying rather than Amazon reviews. Although the high reviews did help with my own confirmation bias

Can you switch off the display or is it permanently on?

Fortunately with a product like this you can see the results for yourself on YouTube.
As an owner, this is worthy of it's rating.
Not sure I like the look of that site either, seemed interesting at first, I put in some other products and it's suggesting some reviewers are fake because the reviewer has reviewed everything positively. People that have reviewed like 3 or 4 items in total over long periods of time and all random products, not all Chinese stuff (ie. most likely to be fake) but they just think they're all fake.
I've never purchased anything off Amazon that I wouldn't have given 4 or 5 stars but according to that site, that makes me a fake reviewer.
Further it seems to mark anyone doesn't publicly show their name and has 1 review as fake. Some sample size.
But I do like how they look at reviewed items in common with other reviewers, that's a big sign of reviews for free products.

Looks big, no black model, not discreet enough but good features & support. Must try harder YI.

I bought this during the lightning deal. Good features and video quality but don't like the grey colour as its very eye catching and not comfortable leaving it in the car over night. Prefer in black.

It lets you choose the timeout period, when it times out, it displays the date and time but haven't figure out to turn off the display completely yet. You can set more options connecting it to your phone, only just figured out how to get rid of the YI logo in the corner today
