Had on on pre-order. But cancelled. After the initial early adoper rush, I don't think these will sell as much as they hope.
Plus, you'll soon need quite a large external HDD to store all those additional textures!

Any regular gamer needs an external drive anyway. The X has a 1tb drive as standard compared to the 500 in the regular 's'...so plenty to get on with if you were happy with the standard s.

Consider even the cheaper PS4 Pro will likely only have sold about 3.5m units in its first year. I seriously doubt X1X will manage any better and be dead/replaced long before it has had any sort of impact on the market

Tempting but after the burn from preordering the original Xbox one I’m not in a rush this time. Bought the original Xbox on launch. And 360. Then 360 with hdmi. Then Xbox one. Unless Argos price glitch it to £89.99 I’ll wait until next year when they will be £299 with a 2TB HDD.

You also need a 4k tv to get the best out of this console. That's at least 750 pound spend for a 4k tv and xbox.

he said £750 for Xbox AND 4k TV. Sounds about right for both
Opening post
I found 3% cashback via Quidco on this. I'm not able to see any other form of discount seeing as this has literally just come out.
Anyone else able to find something better?
