Spend £7 more and get one with fast wireless charging.
Even if you don't need it now it's more future proof.

Or don't spend anything and plug in charger like what ppl have been doing for years with no issues - agree Lizardon ?

Using a wireless charger will extend the life of the phone's micro USB port. And it's invaluable if the phone's port is damaged. Much more convenient too.

I'm actually looking for a slower charging one as the fast charging has the potential to decrease the battery life.
Fair enough if you want a fast charging for the daytime, but I wanted one of these for next to the bed at night so does not matter if it's fast charging or not as it will still charge in 6+ hours.
I have actually turned the fast charging option off on my Galaxy S8 Plus as it lasts a whole day anyway, but may turn it back on if I get a slow charging wireless charging pad.

Possibly This but I am going to try and make a car charger out of it so the fast charger would be too big and bulky to fit in a car cradle.
do i need to turn on nfc for it to work, does it work with case

Spend 46p more and go for a fast charging one that is the same size as this. Just add the 5% off under promotions to get this price.

From the description in your link. No fast charge + no adaptor = no deal
Note: 1.Wireless charging is slower than cable charging. This is standard model wireless charger so it doesn't support fast wireless charging. 2.The input current should not be less than 1500mA to keep high energy efficiency, the wall adapter is not included in the package.

It is quite normal for a mains adapter to not be included and worth noting that all wireless chargers are not as efficient as directly connecting a charging cable to a phone. On the plus side, if you are not in a rush, e.g. charging overnight or at your desk all day, then the speed makes little odds. Other positives are the sheer convenience and extending the life of the phone micro USB socket. Excess heat is the enemy of every phone, so it is important to get a charging pad from a reputable brand/source like this one. At £8.99 for prime members, this is a bargain.
If you happen to have a phone with fast charging capability, then personally, I'd consider stumping up the extra £8-10 to get a decent compatible fast charging model. You pays your money......
